Sound insulation

When building external and internal partitions made from SOLBET autoclaved aerated concrete, it is possible to achieve walls which meet the standard requirements concerning acoustic insulation for such partitions.

The acoustic insulation is related to the mass of the partitions and depends, for example, on the thickness of the blocks and the autoclaved aerated concrete variety used. Heavier partitions give better acoustic insulation. By choosing SOLBET autoclaved aerated concrete partition walls, it is possible to achieve partitions which meet the standard requirements concerning sound insulation for such partitions. Exterior walls made from autoclaved aerated concrete, which meet the thermal insulation requirements, will also effectively protect interiors from unwanted sounds, meeting the sound insulation standards for most building locations.
