Lintels

Reinforced lintels made from autoclaved aerated concrete are easy-to-use construction elements that significantly speed up masonry work. They are designed for making vaulted door and window openings without preparing formwork, concrete and reinforcement. Thanks to their low weight, they can be assembled manually without the need for heavy equipment.
They have the same height as other SOLBET brickwork elements, which improves the course of work.

Correct assembly of lintels is made easier by the SOLBET inscription and the minimum support lengths marked on them.

SOLBET lintels are available in several lengths.
The maximum length of prefabricated lintels is 230 cm, which makes it possible to cover an opening with a width of 180 cm

LAYING TECHNIQUE:

» Lintels laid next to each other must be joined with mortar. It is a part of the SOLBET system;
» Horizontal joints must be filled;
» Vertical joints must be filled;

By laying appropriately selected lintels side by side, you can achieve a width corresponding to each type of wall built with the SOLBET system

NOTE:

If there is a reinforced concrete ring beam above the lintel and all additional conditions are met, the load capacity of the lintel is 50% higher.

Additional conditions that must be met in order to assume a higher load capacity of lintels:

the distance between the lintel and the ring beam may not be greater than half the span of the opening covered by the lintel;
the ring beam must have a minimum concrete cross-sectional area of 0.025 m2 as required by the standard;
the ring beam is to be made of concrete of minimum C 16/20 (B-20) class;
the top reinforcement of the ring beam shall be made of at least two ø10 bars made of steel of minimum A-I St3S-b class;
